Trinkets are a group of Items found by digging up Graves using a Shovel. Digging up each grave causes a Sanity loss of 10 points.
The only use for Trinkets is to be traded to the Pig King in exchange for Gold Nuggets. Otherwise, some players like to use certain trinkets as decoration. The following are all the Trinkets players can find :
Ball and CupThe Ball and Cup has a 4.17% chance of being found when digging up a grave. A Cup-and-ball refers to a traditional children's toy where the player tried to catch the ball, which has a small cup, or hole, via the toy's handle. It can be traded to the Pig King for 4 Gold Nuggets, but it cannot be used in any crafting recipes. This Trinket is known as "trinket_7" in the game files and can be DebugSpawned using that name. |

Gord's KnotGord's Knot has a 4.17% chance of being found when digging up a grave. He released the cart by cutting the Knot with a knife, and went on to conquer much of Asia Minor, before his army rebelled. It has since become a metaphor for solving a complex problem with a simple solution, by thinking outside of the box. It can be traded to the Pig King for 4 Gold Nuggets, but it cannot be used in any crafting recipes. This Trinket is known as "trinket_3" in the game files and can be DebugSpawned using that name. |
